Stavros Niotis, as Chief Sustainability Officer at Prime Marine, leads the company’s decarbonization strategy, ESG initiatives, and commercial expansion into emerging markets, including CO2 transportation and hydrogen storage and distribution.
His expertise in marine logistics, regulatory frameworks, and certification processes—gained through his tenure at ABS—has been instrumental in shaping innovative hydrogen transport solutions. Having been deeply involved in the Gasvessel project since 2015, Stavros brings extensive knowledge of large-scale industrial gas transportation across continents.
As a strategic partner of GVP, he plays a vital role in advancing containerized hydrogen solutions, making maritime hydrogen logistics more efficient and cost-competitive.
Stavros holds a Master degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and has over 17 years of professional experience, specializing on LNG/LPG carriers under various disciplines in Class Societies and other Shipping Companies.
