Sören Schmitz

Sören is the Chief Commercial Officer at PCI Gases, a global leader in on-site air separation solutions with operations in the United States, Brazil, and India. During his tenure at PCI, he pioneered the deployment of energy-efficient Vacuum Swing Adsorption (VSA) technology to supply Oxygen 93% to hospitals worldwide. Sören is also a long-standing member of ISO/TC 121/SC 6, contributing to international standards for medical gas supply systems. Earlier in his career, he served as a management consultant at Lochridge & Company. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany.
