Frederic Marchal

Fred has been a senior member of the Engineering, Research & Development team since 2009.

Fred established stack engineering within a Technology Division at ITM which produced prototype electrolyser stacks and achieved gradual power and size increase of the technology then used in early products. The company now enjoys world class research, partnerships, development, and test facilities which have produced a step change in PEM stack size, performance, and core intellectual property.

Fred became a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM) in 2022, for his significant contribution to the UK green hydrogen sector.
