Blair McMaster

Blair McMaster works as a Senior CO2 Capture Consultant at DNV, supporting CCUS projects across the world. As part of DNV’s CCS Venture team, he works mainly with emitters in capture technology selection and understanding the costs and risks in developing capture projects. Additionally, he manages the interface between CO2 capture and transport; particularly CO2 purity, is a recent focus area.

Prior to joining DNV, Blair worked for four years at Technology Centre Mongstad, the world’s largest demonstration site for CO2 capture technologies, where he gained insight and hands-on experience with the risks and challenges of CO2 capture. He is a chartered process engineer with 10 years of experience across various industries and holds a master’s degree in Chemical & Process Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
